From the Archives - Rolls-Royce Phantom II Newport Town Car - reproduction

Project Date: 29/07/2010

As this vehicle has recently been showcased in an article in Australian Classic Car June 2010 Vintage Motor Garage decided to share some progress pictures as an adjunct to the restoration story.
Unfortunately many of the mechanical photos in particular have not survived the age of the floppy disc and some of the photos shown may not be of great quality - but we are in the business of vehicle restoration not photography.
Vintage Motor Garage acknowledges the commitment to excellence that artisan tradesmen have shown to this restoration.
A project of this nature is not for the feint hearted or the impatient. Many hours of research is invested in a restoration that requires concourse standard correctness. It also takes a good deal more labour hours, not to mention procurement of parts from reproduction specialists or by making components from scratch, to finally realise what the owner desires.
