Chev Restoration & Modification Project

The engine for the Chev has arrived & is looking very nice.
The body has undergone rust repairs & modifications for the custom fuel tank as well as now being prepared for the fitting of the chassis.
The chassis is currently undergoing preperation to fit the body.

The body was etched earlier this week to protect it from rust.
Wood work is almost finished with only a few minor areas being constructed, like the back lip [see photo].
The Trimers have now begun on the interior of the Bentley
as well as the exterior, which will be formed out of tough body fabric. The trimmers have their work cut out for them, and they are hitting the project hard.

We do our best to anticipate the worst when removing paint before a restoration. This is one of the rare occasions when rust damage and substandard repairs exceeded even our expectations.

This 1956 Chevrolet is destined to be a street machine!
With a complete new paint job, a Morrison chassis on order and a new Blown 350 engine, it is going to be one special car.

Bentley Motor

The Bentley 4.5L Motor has been machined to full 4.5L specifications with a new cylinder block, crank shaft, oil pump, drive gears and LOTS of other new parts!

Black Sealer was applied to keep out any moisture and to prevent the timber from rotting.

Plus Eight Morgan Door

The old door had corroded away, so our panel beater made a new door skin for this Plus Eight Morgan. Next it will need to be painted.

Our coach builder is in the process of making trim boards for the 1927 Bentley replica.
Also the modified 4.5L Radiator is ready for the special oversize core!

1937, 4.3L Alvis lights

Mechanically this 1966 Austin Healey is almost completed and ready for a test-drive.
Next step is to get started on the interior!

The beginnings of the metalwork has come!
We have started making the difficult rear body shape of the 1927 Bentley LeMans replica. Also under construction is the creation of the special one-off \\\"Mother Gun\\\" fuel tank (different to all the other LeMans tanks).
The chassis and engine machining is continuing...

Here we have a 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. At the moment is is basically a shell while our very talented panel beater does what he does best to restore this classic to its full glory.
